Lowrider Style review.



Today lowrider name any low creeping on highway wheelbarrow. And meanwhile, from the point of view of cleanliness of style, it is incorrect. And that is true and as it works – we will try to understand in this article. Movement lowriders has arisen to the Second World War. Already in the late 30-s in many small towns in the south of the USA the American Mexicans went on low Chevrolet.

The car was a part of youth culture and distinctive feature of the Mexican population. In many cases it were "Chevrolet", old, but perfectly restored. In certain cases they have been temporarily underestimated"by bags with sand or other heavy subjects in a luggage compartment, in others – went by short springs which either cut, or heated up until while they did not get"correct"height. The manner to go on lowriders leaves during more distant times. Till now in many Mexican villages there is a custom when unmarried young men walk round a central square, the young man in one direction, girls in other. Chevrolet as a whole, for admirers lowriders is the same that Ford – for jotas-rodderov. In pre-war years luxury models of 39th year used special popularity. After war in honour there were cabriolets Chevrolet of 48th modelling year: Fleetline 48th, "Chevy" hard top 50th and, of course, Mercury 49th – 50th years. Hydraulics

The principle of work of hydraulic struts not strongly differs from principle absorber works. For cars with a spring rear suspension the scheme is even easier: the cylinder one end fastens to a frame over a spring, the second fastens to the spring. Thus the quantity of sheets in a spring as much as possible decreases. If the car has a suspender of type of MakFerson then the standard absorber is subject to replacement by the hydrocylinder. The original spring thus remains. As the top part of the cylinder fastens to a body through a standard bearing part at car lowering, the cylinder simply compresses a spring. There is still a second scheme when the spring is above the cylinder. In this case the hydraulics in no way does not influence a spring compression ratio.





Other important device – the pump forcing oil in cylinders. To press in principles of work of the pump it is not meaningful within the limits of given article. It is necessary to notice only that the pump submits oil under the big pressure to working area of the cylinder. There are some schemes of installation of pumps. The most simple is the unique pump. In this case to hoist the car it will be possible only at once all. In the second case the system has two pumps – on one on a lobby and a rear axle. At such scheme it is possible to steer separately a raising of a lobby or a car rear. And the most advanced scheme are four pumps, on each cylinder the pump. Here it is possible to steer a raising of any "corner" of the car in independence of all the others.



It is necessary to notice that lowering, in any their three cases, occurs independently for each cylinder. Each of them has the "target" valve. An element of a food of pumps are additional accumulators, which incorporate consistently to receive various pressure. The above pressure, the is more speed of pumps. That it to reach, unite to 6 accumulators, receiving on an exit 72 Volts. It allows to hoist the car almost instantly. Repeatedly repeated to hoist leads to that the car starts to jump. The following element absolutely unessential, the receiver is. It is the small cylinder usually established in immediate proximity from the hydrocylinder. Is better directly over it. The receiver is necessary when it is necessary, that the car could rise and fall smoothly and without jerks. On a design it is a cylinder divided by a diaphragm. New York 2009: Kia Forte Koup (Video)

On a motor show in New York Subaru has absolutely unexpectedly presented new generation of model Outback. We will remind that Outback represents the off-road version of versatile person Legacy with the increased road gleam and other appearance.

Lexus L-Finesse have shown in Milan!


This year on a week of a fashion in Milan, Lexus will show the mini exhibition under the name “Lexus L-finesse – the stood wind”. Anniversary VW-Porsche 914



There was no agiotage, when in April, 1969 present company Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG together with Volkswagenwerk AG has based company VW-Porsche. Company VW-Porsche creation has marked itself the beginning of the present history of success — and the happy end of drama development. In the mid-sixties company VW reflected, who becomes the successor of out-of-date sports coupe Type 34 which was more known under a name «Karmann Ghia». At the same time company Porsche aspired to expand the position in the market of sports cars in a promising segment distinct from 911.

Taking into account the given situation Ferri Porsche and general director VW of Hajnrih Nordhof have agreed in the spring of 1966 about creation of joint venture which should benefit both companies: Porsche has received the order from Volkswagen on working out inexpensive centre-motor sports car which should enter the market under mark Volkswagen with four-cylinder and under mark Porsche with six-cylinder opposite engine.



Working out process went quite successfully, but unexpectedly the board has faced tragical event: Hajnrih Nordhof has suddenly died in 1968, and by the new head Kurt Lotts has been appointed. It cancelled the oral arrangement and has insisted that Volkswagen will receive exclusive rights on sale of the car which was developed Porsche. After long and difficult struggle which has resulted the project 914 practically before closing, both companies have come — to name new car "VW-Porsche" to the conciliatory proposal and to sell this model through a joint network.

VW-Porsche 914 has been presented on the Frankfurt motor show on September, 11th, 1969 as the first serial centre-motor sports car in Germany. However the combination of two brands — Volkswagen and Porsche — has led problems with image of a new modelling series which named in a press «Volksporsche» or «National Porsche». It especially negatively affected on 914/6 which actuated two-litre opposite engine borrowed at 911 T 2.0. Despite the exclusive characteristics, 914/6 practically did not cause interest in the majority of the clients who were interested Porsche. Four-cylinder VW-Porsche 914, on the other hand, had the big success in the market. It has been exhausted in number of 115 631 copies while in the spring of 1976 its batch production has not been stopped. Thus, it became the most popular sports car of time.



The majority of cars have been sent for export to the United States where model 914 was on sale as high-grade Porsche without prefix VW. Now VW-Porsche 914 it is considered the recognised classical car to what numerous clubs of fans of model 914 worldwide testify. To the most valuable to collectors Porsche became 914/6 which has been exhausted all in 3338 copies. Museum Porsche marks 40th anniversary of a modelling series 914 display of rare special model which will be exposed from April, 9th till May, 10th, 2009: Porsche 914/8 with the 300-strong eight-cylinder racing engine which Ferri of Porsche owned. It has been constructed only such two cars, and one of them has been presented by Ferri of Porsche in 1969 as a special gift to its 60 anniversary.

PPI R8 Razor GTR debuts at exhibition Top Marques Show!



Completely ready to manufacture PPI R8 Razor GTR will show on auto show Top Marques Show which next week will pass in Monaco. And though Razor GTR is not usual PPI Razor, it also will be based on Audi R8. For the first time the car have shown on a motor show in Essen last year.

Unlike R8, in Razor GTR for simplification of weight and dynamics improvement the titan and aluminium is used carbon fibre, the car bears on itself an expanding bodi-whale who has been tested in a wind tunnel. An interior have changed completely. Now the interior is finished by a dark skin with an orange decor and inserts from carbon. During demonstration on a motor show in Essen Razor GTR had the engine capacity of 580 horsepowers that allowed the car to be dispersed to 100 km/hour for 3,7 seconds and to develop the maximum speed in 322 km/hour.
